Land Acknowledgement
We Raise Our Hands
The North Shore Primary Care Networks respectfully acknowledges that the work we do as individuals and as an organization takes place on the unceded, traditional, and ancestral lands of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw), the Tsleil-Waututh (səlilwətaɬ) Nations.
As a healthcare organization, we recognize that there is systemic racism within and throughout our institutions and that we have the responsibility and power to create culturally safe, respectful, inclusive, and appropriate environments of care. We are committed to an authentic reconciliation process that acknowledges past harms while healing current relationships. To the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. We raise our hands to each and every one of you who have allowed us to live in your homelands.
